   Purchase & Collection of Demolition and Construction Scrap

   We purchase and collect metal scrap and reusable materials from a wide range of demolition and construction projects, including steel-frame and reinforced-concrete (RC) buildings, bridge works, and river works.We handle various materials removed from construction sites, including steel road plates, sheet piles, and other scrap materials.Our fleet includes trailers, 15-ton, 10-ton, and 4-ton trucks, including long-body and dump trucks. We can arrange the appropriate vehicle according to site conditions and the type and volume of material to be collected.

   Metal Machining Scrap & Unwanted Machinery Collection

   We purchase and collect a wide range of metal processing and machining scrap, including offcuts from shearing and cutting operations, as well as metal chips, turnings and swarf generated by machining and milling.We also purchase and collect unwanted machinery, industrial equipment and other surplus equipment from factories and manufacturing facilities.In addition, we can undertake the dismantling and removal of factory equipment and facilities.

   Metal Scrap Recycling & Processing

   At our two processing facilities, we process more than 200 tons of ferrous scrap every day, using a 1,600-ton scrap shear at our Muko Plant and a 1,000-ton scrap shear at our Head Office Plant. The processed scrap is then supplied to steel mills for use as a recycled raw material.For non-ferrous scrap, materials are carefully dismantled down to individual components and sorted by metal type before shipment, helping maximize material recovery and recycling efficiency.

   Purchase of All Types of Metal Scrap

   We purchase a wide range of metal scrap generated from civil engineering, waterworks, electrical installations, and other construction projects.We also purchase various types of non-ferrous metal scrap, including aluminum, stainless steel, copper, bronze, brass, insulated wire, and radiators.

   MATERIALS

   We handle a wide range of non-ferrous and ferrous metal scrap. Our main export materials include Aluminum 6063 Extrusion (Tread), Insulated Copper Wire (ICW), and SUS304 stainless steel. We also trade various grades of copper, aluminum, UBC, electric motors and other recyclable materials. Availability and specifications may vary depending on market conditions.

   Efficient Loading, Reliable Quality

   Our press machine produces compacted metal scrap in a standard bale size of 1,000 × 600 × 700 mm, optimized for efficient container loading.Our specialized loading equipment significantly improves on-site loading efficiency while helping to minimize the risk of damage to containers. Under standard operating conditions, we can load up to five containers per day, helping reduce the risk of container damage and related claims at the destination.After loading is completed, each shipment undergoes a final inspection using a radiation detector. This additional check helps prevent radiation-related issues during customs clearance and provides greater assurance for our international customers.

   

   Expanding Global Logistics

   Since 2025, Ito Shoten has been developing its bulk vessel shipping operations at Maizuru Port, primarily for ferrous scrap.
